Eden Robins, Ariana Dupré, Karen McCullough:
Beneath a Christmas Moon
This eBook shows three talented authors who write sizzling and exciting
paranormals which take place at Christmas time.
Eden Robins: Lander's Moon
Single-Cupid-Plot-Factor: 4.5
Single-Cupid-Romance-Factor: 3.5
When homeopathic healer Selena sees the bright moon at Christmas, she
knows something terrible is going to happen. Soon after, her rock star -
wannabe boyfriend isn't only shouting at her for not ironing his
favorite shirt, but starts hitting her. As soon as he gets disrupted by
a phone call, Selena uses the opportunity and flees only to remember
that they were at a cabin in the woods and she is now stranded in the
snow without any neighbors for miles. Lander, who is in his shifted form
as lion, doesn't mind wandering around the snow of his land, because his
thick pelt keeps him warm. He wants to hunt or mate, but when he finds
pixie like Selena unconscious in the snow, he only wants to bring her to
safety at once.
I quite enjoyed this paranormal story that mixes paranormal subjects
like shifters with Greek mythology. Selena as the healer is a very
likeable character and a strong woman, whom I admired. When her
boyfriend starts hitting her, she doesn't just crying, but takes the
first opportunity to get away from him and she keeps her wits in the
snow and when Lander shows her his wild side! Lander is feral and wild,
but with Selena he is caring and wants to help and keep her. The only
part that was a bit strange was that a lion shifter likes to live in the
snow so much! Otherwise, the story is exciting and heartwarming and
shows the sizzling attraction between Lander and Selena, and I enjoyed
it a lot. EDEN ROBINS is an author to certainly write good and thrilling
paranormals. Good characters, an exciting plot and scorching love - a
great mix for a short paranormal story!
Ariana Dupré: Paradise Designs
Single-Cupid-Plot-Factor: 4.0
Single-Cupid-Romance-Factor: 3.5
Tara has just moved into the new apartment complex and wants to start a
new life, free of her abilities that scare her. However, suddenly she
hears on the news that her apartment complex seems to be haunted and
that means the paranormal whispers, precognitions and so on which she
has will be even worse than normal. She wants to leave at once, because
she is so afraid of ghosts and her abilities, but then she meets David,
who shall help sell the place and he believes in ghosts and is really
interested in her and her talent. Will they be able to solve the mystery
about Paradise Designs Resort themselves and will Tara find the strength
to accept her special talents and will they fall in love?
I have to admit that I don't like ghost stories very much and therefore
I didn't expect much of this story. I was totally positively surprised!
This story is exciting, had two great main characters, a good mystery
and lots of chemistry and sexual tension. Tara has wonderful gifts that
were passed to her through her family. Her mother and grandmother are
totally accepting and understanding, but Tara doesn't want to use her
abilities after a friend died and she foresaw it. That was a bit of a
peeve for me that Tara needed so much time to finally accept who she is.
David, an international marketing guru and new realtor, isn't only sexy
and charming, he is also really open-minded about the paranormal and
wants to know and learn everything about it. I loved that he had no
problems with Tara's gifts and encourages her to use them and to trust
in herself. The chemistry between them is great and their love story is
romantic and has sizzling sex scenes. When they discover that the reason
for the haunted building is a murder that took place not so long ago,
the story gets quite exciting and mysterious. A very enjoyable,
thrilling story with ghosts, love and acceptance of who you are - great
work!
Karen McCullough: Vampire's Christmas Carol
Single-Cupid-Plot-Factor: 3.5
Single-Cupid-Romance-Factor: 2.5
Carol is on her way to celebrate Christmas with her family when the
terrible weather conditions make driving more and more difficult.
Finally, she loses control of the car on the slippery road and lands in
a ditch. She is far away from any bigger town and there is only a light
some distance away that indicates people. When she finally reaches the
old house the owner doesn't seem happy to see her and doesn't even want
to let her in. Carol is aghast that he wants her to stay out in the
freezing weather, and insists on coming in. Soon she notices why
Michael, the handsome but tormented looking owner, didn't want her here:
he is a vampire and wants to die to escape his fate. And Carol is a
tasty temptation who has just wandered in.
Normally, I really love Vampire stories and I was looking forward to
this one. However, this story has the plot I like least for a vampire
tale: the poor tortured vampire who doesn't want to be one because they
are all so mean and evil and he rather wants to be human again. Michael
is the epitome of that: he has been living in this house for ages, never
drinking human blood because he saw how vicious his maker was and has
been waiting for death for a long time now. Carol on the contrary is a
character I liked a lot: she is feisty, courageous and she doesn't want
to leave Michael to his suffering alone, although she is in danger
because of him. The characters are good and there is a lot of romance
and a bit of sexual tension between them, but unfortunately I didn't
like the plot. For those who don't mind that the vampire doesn't want to
be one and is stuck with the "all vampires are bad" cliché,
who like a romantic cuddly read, it is a great book.

New Review for Talgorian Prophecy from
ParaNormal Romance! Thank you Stacy!
"Psychic in a race against time to save her
son"
After the kidnapping of her son Robbie, and unable to get the police
to listen to her when she says she saw it happen and she knows who took
him, Megan has no choice but to enlist the help of Brody, despite their
history together. So Megan returns home to ask for Brody's help in
finding her son.
Brody never believed Megan when she says she saw things but now she
has returned and says she has seen her death and that of her son. Megan
begs for his help to save her son before it's too late. What they didn't
expect is that the Legend of their home town will come into play.
This was a very interesting story and I loved how Ariana Dupré
brings a small town legend into play with the characters. You feel for
Megan when the police refuse to believe she can help them find the
Mangler they are looking for because she is psychic. And when she has to
return to her small town to enlist the help of the only man that can
save her son you feel the pain and love between Brody and Megan. I would
recommend this book to anyone that enjoys paranormal reading and small
town history or legends.

This has been a wonderful week for
reviews. I just found out about this one from Simply Romance Reviews for
Talgorian Prophecy. Thank you Lynda!
SRR GRADE: A
What would you do
if you were a famous psychic and your son was just kidnapped by a
ruthless serial killer? Go the police? I think not,
especially when they don’t believe a word you say. You head off
to find him, and that’s just what Megan Cassidy does in Talgorian
Prophecy.
No one believes
she can find her son but she knows she can, her visions become more and
more haunting and she has no choice but to ask for the help of her
ex-fiancé Brody Phelps. She has never stopped loving him but he
has never forgiven her for the loss of his parents seven years ago.
But Megan has a
secret she’s kept from Brody and when he finds out and agrees to help
her find Robbie they learn even more unbelievable truths as they hike
through the mountains of Virginia.
What is the Talgorian
Prophecy? Well you’ll have to read this fast paced, hold on
to the edge of your chair book by Ariana Dupré to find out. I’m
not going to spoil one word of this excellent story. Can you say “what
a twist?” You will and more as you hike along with Megan and
Brody on their desperate search for Robbie before time runs out.
I really loved
this book, it had a couple of really great surprises and it was never
slow. The characters were well rounded from the obnoxious police
officer (I swear I wanted to kick his butt myself) to Megan, our
heroine, who loved her son so deeply nothing not even the threat of
death would keep her from rescuing him. One warning, make sure
when you start Talgorian Prophecy you have plenty of time to read
because you won’t want to put it down until you have turned the last
page. I can’t wait to read more by this very talented author.

Wow! Another great review for
Beneath A Christmas Moon!
Score (1-5) Hearts: 5 - Lifetime keeper!
"Beneath a Christmas Moon is an enchanting tales of heroes that
have not had good luck lately and women that will not go away to be with
their man. Three great stories that all have such a great story line it
is hard not to like each one. They are all paranormal yet each one is
different from the typical shape shifting and vampire story. Each one
tells about love that they wish they can go through and a life they
dreamt of having. I loved them all and any reader will enjoy each story."
